“We don’t think you fight fire with fire best; we think you fight fire with water best. We’re going to fight racism not with racism, but we’re going to fight with solidarity. We say we’re not going to fight capitalism with black capitalism, but we’re going to fight it with socialism. We’ve stood up and said we’re not going to fight reactionary pigs and reactionary state’s attorneys like this and reactionary state’s attorneys like Hanrahan with any other reactions on our part. We’re going to fight their reactions with all of us people getting together and having an international proletarian revolution.” — Fred Hampton, Speech delivered at Olivet Church, 1969

  23. A lot can be said in six minutes!

Hoover was a despicable little monster, a sick hypocrite infested with religious zeal of the worst type. Fred Hampton was so right.

Blind, priest-conditioned loyalty to totalitarian right-wing ideologies, has driven reactionary ‘evangelisms,’ that have done almost irreparable, cumulative harm to the moral backbone of the USA.

Bigots beget bigots. Lies are carcinogenic. Cynicism destroys trust. Corruption eats up the heart. Corporate uniformity deforms originality of intent.

“Inherited” power that dictates limiting outcomes, can never be an authentic way of life; it guarantees spiritual bankruptcy, savages the soul, diminishes creative imagination, enforcing psychotic misery through perpetual suffering…leading to premature decay and inevitable decline.

A healthy humanity needs a wholesome, ‘reflexive’ habitat ~ a climate of thought and action that is sensitive to indigenous contexts; a political, bio-conscious, diverse environment that supports the intelligent and wise provision of ethical systems of education, development and opportunity.
