Finally Released: Censored Al Jazeera Documentary Exposes Israel-Backed Attacks on US Activists
TheRealNews on Nov 13, 2018
Al Jazeera’s undercover film The Lobby – USA, censored by Qatar, has finally been published by The Electronic Intifada. Editor Ali Abunimah discusses the documentary’s explosive revelations, exposing Israel-backed attacks on US activists.
Excerpt:
: “And so I think the film should be seen not so much as a testament to the success of the Israel lobby, but of its failure. The fact that they have had to mount this massive operation, and it has not been able to staunch the hemorrhage of support for Israel, I think really should encourage people that speaking out is the right thing to do. The more normalized that it becomes to talk about Palestinian rights, the less power the smear and intimidation tactics have. So the message I think people should take away is speak up more, not less, because we’re winning.”

Absolutely brilliant, Lo ~ an exceptional post.
What never ceases to amaze me, is the utter moral blindness of these fanatical ‘lobbyists.’ Everything of which Israeli extremists are accused….in fact, not merely ‘accused’ but to which all the accumulated evidence points, unequivocally….they turn into an aggressive provocation, a total mirror-image reversal.
In other words, every crime that has been perpetrated against the indigenous population, is inverted ~ transformed, mutated and weaponized ~ as a desperate accusation against anyone who has anything fair, just, true or balanced to say in defense of Palestinian human rights, dignity, culture and their brutally mutilated & trampled heritage.
It is a truly agonizing contradiction. Nothing will change until an educated and enlightened generation emerges out of this horror, that can shed the polarizing animus of victimization, to embrace a truly cosmopolitan and universal idea of shared life; of spiritual values, that fully embody, express and incarnate the highest principles of (generic) human excellence.
Thanks for watching it, David and your comment.
Have you watched Part 2 of the Hedges’ interview yet on this documentary?

Yes, very good; shall listen again. I sometimes find it helpful to revisit these conversations more than once…
Oh, I thought perhaps you missed it. Thanks for watching it, David.

Thanks for reblogging.
This is an awesome post. We need to get A LOT of people to see this.
Due to various forms of censorship and a lack of resources I have a tiny voice in this corporate-controlled society, but hopefully, people with abundant resources get this out in a way that’s easily accessible for the majority of people in the U.S.
I so agree. I’m concerned that the videos may be taken down, so people need to watch while they are still available online.
Two issues have been shown to be almost impossible to discuss in the U.S. – the violence inherent in the religion of Capitalism and the truth about Israel being a terrorist state. I can only imagine how much suffering would be prevented if the U.S. stopped supporting this psychopathic war machine that disguises itself as a nation.
Add in Saudi Arabia, too.
I don’t see nearly as much support for Saudi Arabia as for Capitalism and Israel. When I had a Twitter account I saw an obvious drop in followers every time I posted something questioning Capitalism or denouncing Israel’s violence against Palestinians and I received angry, irrational replies regarding those issues. I never got such a reaction when I posted about Saudi Arabia’s violence in Yemen and their “behind closed doors” deals with Israel and Iran.
If this is not worthy of a Pullitzer prize, I don’t know what is and if it’s not getting one, it will be a very big tell on the state of the fifth estate. My most respectful salute to a very courageous young man and the people who put their career and more on the line to disseminate this primordial document.
Thank you for your comment, Olivier, I so agree.
