Plenty of sour grapes from the über-reactionary cliques.
That fulminating specimen Keith Olbermann sounds disquietingly like an abusive spouse ~ hysterical and probably violent.
There seem to be a lot of “intelligence” establishment temper tantrums in evidence. Just so long as these juvenile delinquents don’t start slinging their nuclear-armed playthings out of the pram.
The coordinated assault on the high-profile independent news stations is clearly proceeding apace. Now of course, that is principally a campaign to discredit documentary and screen based media. We have yet to witness overt examples of book-burning.
Mind, as Bertrand Russell once cautioned us with understated irony, and I must paraphrase from memory ~ they (the inquisitorial status quo ante) no longer burn people at the stake these days, but still have other ways of showing unkindness…
Thanks, David, but why link to the Olbermann video?
Dandelion Salad used to post his videos back during the Bush II regime. Olbermann is a democrat and is perpetuating the corporate media and Democratic Party lies about Russia.
“Isn’t it strange the status quo can own the media and manipulate the narrative by lying and deception and for these fools that is democratic yet when an outside entity plays the same game it is somehow evil. Democracy relies upon dissemination of a whole lot of diverse opinion and a nation that dose not trust itself is on the way to Orwellian dystopia. A misinformed public that can no longer discriminate is wide open to manipulation by all sides. If your democracy is so vulnerable to external influence does not that say something about your own ineptitude and lack of faith in you political system? Always blame the other guy. US you and you alone stuffed up by marginalising Bernie Sanders through electoral fraud. Take you medicine and start repair now by stopping the influence of the Democratic right. All the rest is pure deflection and chest thumping to deflect from Democrats miserable failure.”
